About the Event

Course Description:

Assessment is an evaluation of the ability of the clients. Movement such as breathing, walking, pushing, pulling, and rotating, which are considered as inherent human movement ability is not usually focused in clinical or orthopedic assessment. The course teaches practitioners/fitness professionals understand the human body in ways that can be relatable to day to day activities for the client and better assist the health provider/fitness professional in identifying movement inefficiencies. When it comes to creating a proper treatment plan or corrective exercise program, being able to prioritize basic fundamental movement deviations is crucial in facilitating movement capacity. The course will focus on the 5 subsystems of the body (core, deep longitudinal sling, posterior oblique sling, anterior oblique sling, and the lateral sling).

Learning Objectives:

- Improve decision making skills when performing assessment

- Identify variables that affect assessment protocol

- Critically analyze physiological deviations from ideal functional standards

- Have a direction on exercise programming according to the fascial system
